Michelle’s Story
Life presents everyone with challenges. The most difficult challenges are those that involve our kids who we nurture and care for and who we love with all our hearts. Imagine the distress I experienced when my son started having difficulties at school with learning and we were unable to properly identify the problem. After years of not knowing and eventually having to enrol him at a special school, the teacher there picked up that he may have a hearing problem. I then took him for comprehensive hearing testing, and he was diagnosed with a specific type of hearing problem. Eventually he was fitted with a hearing Aid and today he is excelling in all his subjects. I am sharing my story so that I can help other parents who may face the same or similar challenges and give them the foresight to address the problem earlier.
